Superhero Summit Vol 02 Ep 01 - COMIC Continuum and Default Genre

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

JJ and Nick (better known as Working Man and Cybernrd) are back with a whole new volume of superhero gaming goodies. To shake things up we’ve changed our format a bit, added a new host Darin (Celephais from The Inner Circle podcast) and kick things off with a new tool for players and GMs to better describe their super-heroic game setting: the COMIC Continuum. Finally, we cap the show off by using the COMIC Continuum to lay the groundwork for Default superhero genre.

Future shows will discuss Pulp, Golden Age, Silver Age, Street Level and Cosmic Genres. Each genre will first be introduced with our COMIC Continuum rating and then delve into one aspect of that genre. After that we’ll rotate through the genres bringing you two episodes a month: one on the Default setting and one focusing on a different genre mentioned above.

So make sure your mask is on straight, your cape and cowl pressed, your boots shined and ready to go ‘cuz it’s up, up and away!
