Victor Cantu: Lead Content & Multimedia Editor and holder of “The One Ring”
Resident wizard behind the curtain of Fist Full of Comics & Games, Victor lives without sleep. He manages to juggle work, play and family with the ability of a Cirque du Soleil performer; though he still can’t put his elbow in his ear. He has been working on that for years.
Victor’s free time is spent the only way someone can spend six seconds a day, contemplating the universe. He hopes one day to have enough Hawkman action figures for world domination.
Benton Willford: Lead Content Editor – Anime/Manga + Content Editor – RPG and Video Gaming
A man who lives by the Japanese code of bushido, Benton is the epitome of an Anime Hero. He is a seasoned warrior of hundreds of campaigns, as comfortable at the game table as he is chatting up the birds in the pub.
When not gaming or watching films from the Far East, he is working on his novel about the joys of working 3rd shift in the realm of retail. Benton is a trained martial artist and wants to grow up to be Spike Spiegel.
John Cook: Lead Content Editor – Comics
John is a big man of short stature. An avid collector of comics and DC action figures, he can sniff out a comic book store in any city. John is a world traveler and lived in Spain for a year, where he existed solely on tapas and café con leche.
Unbeknown to the other members of the Fist, John is highly talented drummer. While he is getting his Master’s Degree in Library Science, he also drums for the band Wards of the Mayor. John has aspirations of becoming the new drummer for Spinal Tap.
James Hamlton: Lead Media Coordinator and Lead Content Editor – TV/Movies + Action Figures and Stuff + Food Culture
A self-absorbed narcissist, James enjoys the sound of his own voice. Whether he is singing off key in the car or talking to the mirror, the guy has issues. Armed with costumes and Nerf guns galore, James attempts to either save or conquer the world on a fantasy to fantasy basis.
When not watching re-runs of a certain 43 year old sci-fi show, James enjoys sushi and long walks on the beach. He does this often in his mind…since he doesn’t live near an ocean. His dream girl is a six-foot, green-eyed, Asian girl with her own Star Trek uniform.
Nick O’Leary: Lead Content Editor – Table Top Gaming
Though not old enough to legally drink, Nick is the closest thing to James Bond we have at the Fist.
Nick comes from a supportive family who all enjoy games. And he enjoys his Kool-Aid shaken, not stirred.
Chris Larabee: Content Editor – RPG Gaming
An enigma wrapped in bacon, Chris is the guy we never see. Away at University freezing his ass off in Minnesota, he enjoys a warm night of gaming. A soon-to-be published author, he enjoys dead languages and live role-playing. GM extraordinaire, he always ready to get a game started at a moment’s notice.
Chris has aspirations of being a Jedi Knight one day and cutting off his padawan braid.
Jason Hunter: Content Editor – TV/Movies + RPGs
Jason first caught up with the Fist when he stalked us down at a Gen Con podcasting “Meet and Greet”. Luckily, Jason was able to talk James down from the six inch high ledge he was threatening to jump off of and saved us a big clean up.
We’ve been trying to shake him ever since then but he is stuck on us like hair on a hobbit’s foot.
Mary Biller: Content Editor – Video Gaming + Food Culture
Much like her brother Nate, Mary will spend hours on a video game. As a Wizard of Oz aficionado, she has read 14 of the Oz books by L. Frank Baum and can sing the entire soundtrack to Wicked. Whether rolling the dice for D&D or rolling with her homies, she looks good doing it.
A trained lab technician, Mary lives with her two cats, a guinea pig and a pod of sea monkeys. Even though she doesn’t have ruby slippers, she still knows that “There’s no place like home.”
Darin Kerr: Content Editor – RPG Gaming + Action Figures and Stuff
This highly trained thespian is a class act. Raised in the barren land known as North Dakota, Darin brings a level of class to both the podcast and website. A veteran of several plays as well as a feature film, Darin enjoys the limelight.
This busy man of the arts can often be found going over lines and has requested an understudy for the podcast. Darin enjoys the simple things in geekdom: gaming, collectibles and comic books. Darin is currently going for his PhD in Theatre and could not write his own bio because he had rehearsal.
Nate Biller: Lead Content Editor – Video Gaming
The master of the online game, Nate will talk nice to you whilst getting a bead on you with his sniper scope. A smooth operator who doesn’t take crap or prisoners, he is the man when it comes to video games.
Nate is working on his mind-reading skills. This is so he will know what game the random stupid people coming into his store are looking for before they open their pieholes.
Matt Storer: Content Editor – Comics + Books
Superman to Victor’s Batman, Matt is a crucial part of Fist Full of Comics & Games. This trained education administrator enjoys reading the classics: Shakespeare, Poe, and Miller. A friend of the Fist long before officially joining our merry band, he has a comic book collection as big as his heart.
Matt is assembling his own version of the Green Lantern Corps in the hope of making it into the Guinness Book of World Records with the greenest figures in the state of Ohio.
Eric DuPont: Content Editor – RPG Gaming + Movies
A man of many talents, Eric is a master gamer. Saddled with the nickname Elf, this tall, skinny gamer could kick the pretty off Legolas any day. Whether doing movie reviews for the local paper or using technical film terms no one else understands, he uses his vast knowledge to educate people on the finer points of the cinema.
In his free time, Eric secretly listens to boy bands and works at getting his ball cap brim “just right.”
Paul Huffman: Content Editor – RPG Gaming + Movies
Paul was born with a microphone in his hand. This talented DJ can spin a tune or turn a phrase in his sleep. A giant of a man, he is the tallest guy at the Fist. A big fan of the House of the Mouse, he can be found sitting in his house eating sugary cereal and watching Phineas and Ferb often.
Paul enjoys fine $4.99 wine and collecting Mr. Potato Head figures. With his degree in Criminal Justice, he hopes to one day work for the F.B.I.
Annie Murray: Content Editor – Action Figures and Stuff
Annie brings a sense of style and grace normally not found on our site. A tangential friend of FFoCaG for quite a while, she and her husband Joe endeared themselves forever to the Followers of the Fist by hosting a post-Gen Con cookout for a road wary crew. When not obsessing over every word in her column, Annie can be found on Facebook, rescuing stray cats, and making 80s mix CDs for the culturally deprived.
