Lets start with a simple copy and past of some of the theme song lyrics. “There’s 104 days of summer vacation And school comes along just to end it. So the annual problem for our generation Is finding a good way to spend it. Like maybe… Building a rocket, Or fighting a mummy, Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower…” Well I am sure you get the point by now. How we missed having this post up earlier boggles my mind, as i know several of us watch this show almost religiously.
So here is the plot of just about every episode. Phineas and Ferb’s mother leaves home to go somewhere, and leaves Candace their older sister in charge. Phineas and Ferb decide what crazy thing it is they are going to do for the day. Candace then frantically runs around the rest of the day trying to get a hold of their mother to get are heroic duo in trouble. Meanwhile on the other side of the city, the heroic duo’s beloved pet, Perry the Platypus, has dawned his alternate identity of Agent P from the top secret government department O.W.C.A. (Organization Without a Cool Acronym). He is off to fight his sworn nemesis Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, founder of Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated. Inevitably Agent P is captured by Dr. Doofenshmirtz, who while holding Agent P inevitably tells him his entire evil plan involving that episodes-inator. Moments before Dr. Doofenshmirtz is able to enact his evil plan Agent P breaks free and stop the plan, and usually by doing so makes our heroic duo’s activity disappear seconds prior to Candace being able to show it to their mother. Making Candace look crazy and leaving our duo, Phineas and Ferb, to build another day.
This is a must watch show. While most episodes plots are the same, the activities are different and that’s what really matters. The show is on almost all the time on one of the multiple Disney channels. I highly recommend checking it out at lest for one episode.
