As mentioned a few days ago on this site, we believe that Eureka is one of the best offerings on the SyFy Network. Over the past week we have seen some unsettling moves from the former network known as SciFi Channel. Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day had begun guest stints on the series.
I have really enjoyed this series since the beginning. Colin Ferguson has been our “every” man in Eureka since the first day the accidentally showed stumbled into town in the pilot episode. Last week we learned that Eureka was being canceled. It was slated to finish this season and next season, which was to begin filming soon, would be its last. They would get one additional episode to bring it all to a conclusion. We have since learned there will be no sixth season. They will begin work on one final episode to wrap the entire series up.
