Last week my wife sent me a link to this song. Checking about the Internet, I learned that the song is a parody of Katy Perry’s California Gurls. I later heard a portion of the original and all I could do was think that the Team Unicorn version is better. Let me know what you think.

The Last Airbender for the Wii video game follows pretty much the same plot as the recent movie just out in theaters by M. Night Shyamalan. Thankfully, it seems that Shyamalan had very little to do with the game.

It’s been a very slow month with the only big release being NCAA last week, but we do have much to look forward to. If you haven’t seen it yet, the Final Fantasy XIV for the PC has announced an official release day of 9/30/10. With this announcement also comes the reveal of a collectors edition (http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/#/about/game_info). Included with this collectors edition will be and Onion Helmet in-game item, 8 days early access to the game, behind the scenes DVD, a security token that will be used to keep your account hacker free, a travel journal with concept art, a redeemable voucher for a personalized Right of Passage certificate. I highly recommend taking a look at this for your next MMORPG purchase. Screen shots and in game game play are fantastic so you will need a hardcore computer. Be sure to check out all of the specs.

Sonic fans have been clamoring for a new Sonic game for quite some time. And by ‘new Sonic game,’ I mean one that doesn’t involve fighting with a 3D camera or turning into a werewolf. Well, looks like the old crew is back together and putting together an actual sequel to Sonic 3.
The first set of levels shown here are very reminiscent of the first Sonic game, but are rendered with modern graphics. Sonic retains some of the moves he acquired from his ‘Sonic Adventure’ days as well. This is going to be a download only game for all three major systems. So dust off your Sonic collection and brush up on speeding through loop-de-loops and plowing through breakable walls!
Trailer after the jump!

Thats right ladies and gents. As you can see by this sweet pick from IGN it is finally that time of the year. Transformers War For Cybertron (http://www.transformersgame.com/) is finally here! Depending on where you get yours from, there may be some sweet freebie extras. Gamestop customers can look forward to a downloadable Shockwave character. Those whom go to Best Buy can look forward to a Jazz character download. With 3 player co-op campaign and online gameplay similar to Call of Duty, I am going to call this a sleeper hit. How is it like call of duty? In the multiplayer there are classes of character you can play scout, warrior ect. each has a special ability for kicking ass and taking names. You can also equip special perks to make your avatar ever more deadly then the rest, customize your killbotand own some face. The multiplayer demo is available on the Xbox 360.

Yep, this is the new sleek and sexy Xbox360 slim. Giving the old 360 a much needed face lift and bring it closer to the value of the Playstation 3, you can see these new units in stock as soon as tomorrow. While it isn’t anything new, the added value is worth the attention.

The name of the game this week is UFC 2010. One of the biggest underground hits from 2009 the mixed martial arts fighting is back with new features, more customization and more online fisticuffs action then you can shake a stick at. If you haven’t pre-ordered it yet from Gamestop you still might have some time to get the 4 extra exclusive characters James McSweeney, Marcus Jones, Brendan Schaub, and Roy Nelson. Be sure to check out which version of the game you want because Ps3 has some extra content that the 360 version might not have. Still unsure about all of this? Download the demo.
